NexSchools is proud member of UNESCO's Media and Information Literacy Alliance since 2021 and actively advocates and promotes MIL skills and knowldege among schools and universities.

We have launched the education awareness project Happier and Safer Internet (HSI) in 2021. Since then, we have been working tirelessly in education, training, and advocacy to mitigate challenges and develop critical thinking skills among children and youth.

Support Tech/Cyber Safety/ Media & Information Literacy For K12 Children And Teachers

The Happier & Safer Internet Experiences is a holistic program, works with individuals and organizations that are interested in supporting Tech/Cyber Safety/ Media & Information Literacy For K12 and skill based courses for youth. Financial gifts allow for the sustainment of the program and distribution of program materials.

Our goal is to provide every requesting teacher a free classroom set. Supporters of the program can also provide for the development and updates of our resources- books/ digital games and research. Organizations can find ample of branding and advertising opporunties within resources and digital versions to show their support for the program. Additonally, organizations with existing programs can add specific items within the program to enhance the over all engagement.

McAfee Cyberbullying report found that 85% of Indian children have experienced cyberbullying. This includes racism, trolling, personal attacks, and sexual harassment. Indian children reported being cyberbullied and having cyberbullied others at rates well over twice the international average2

It's not enough to just have online safety skills and knowledge; the world is also grappling with information disorder and AI threats, and we must prepare for it.

Support Cyber Safety Education Programs

We asked Schools and Educators  - What steps are you taking to ensure a secure online learning environment for your students in light of the growing cyber threats and digital transformation in education?

NexSchools identified serious concerns in 95% of the 50 schools surveyed regarding their approach to implementing e-logistics, handling student data, and ensuring privacy, among other issues. Additionally, we are all grappling with the advent of AI in our lives.

Be a partner in spreading the NexSchools curriculum-based approach developed in the form of interactive activity book for cyber safety for primary and middle to high school.

The book is based on the curriculum framework of Natonal Education Policy 2020 of Infid,  UNESCO Media and information Literacy, Internet literacy, responsible and digital wellness that can be integrated from 8 years to 11 years for primary and 12 years onwards for the middle to high school children. 

 

Our objective is to address the new challenges of digital media and the Internet which are affecting the mental health and well-being of our children across the world on the one hand and on the other guiding them to thrive by participating in the enormous opportunities to build future skills.

HER Happier and Safer Internet for all

The HER Happier and Safer Internet (HSI)campaign addresses challenges head-on by raising awareness about digital threats such as cyberbullying, online harassment, privacy breaches, fake news, and misinformation.

Her Happier and Safer Internet for all is a women-led community initiative empowering women and girls to thrive in the digital age of AI.

We are building a strong network of women from diverse backgrounds empowering every woman and girl to thrive. We aim to provide the right resources, tools, and support to enable women and girls to navigate the digital landscape confidently and secure.

We are directly working with teachers in K12 and women in capacity building, digital inclusion and opportunities for women and girls. Committed to transform teachers and teaching to widespread use of digital tools, media and information literacy and cyber safety. The women and girls are also lacking skill and digital literacy which had led to gender inequality, our mission is also to equip them to be a part of mainstream careers and opportunities.
