A Magical Dwelling

Waking up to a sunny lush morning , and gearing up as a teacher not knowing how the students would be.Would they like me or hate me? Love me or form enemity with me? So many thoughts rushing through my mind , i finally reached the most enchanting, enthralling and a massive castle where the staff rendered comfort to my soul by assuring me that I’ll be fine and that I’m going to love this new journey - a journey of being a teacher. I was amazed after what I saw - the students who were like gold , who were ready  to be shaped by the perspicacious teachers.

One thing I was very much contemporary to was about the “Tender Children “ .Here I got to know that Wisdom High International School doesn’t leave the tenders kids behind but strive hard to allow them with opportunity for their bright future. Now, in the quest to give opportunity to these tender kids, there is one approach to definitely avoid . We shouldn’t bend over backward to make sure every single bit of the work they do is fascinating and entertaining. First, that’s not our job and second, a certain amount of dullness is inevitable in learning any complex subject . It’s very much natural that all the children aren’t the same and we can’t treat everybody equally . We need to change our views in regards with the tender students.

Motivation , both intrinsic and extrinsic , is a key factor in the success of the students at all stages of their education, and teachers can play a pivotal role in providing and encouraging them. Offcourse, that’s much easier said than done, as  all students are motivated differently and it takes time and a lot of effort to learn to get a classroom full of kids enthusiastic about learning, working hard and pushing themselves to excel.

WHIS focuses more on the growth and development of the kids, keeping in mind about his/her academics as well. Defining the objects in person, providing additional practice worksheets, slotting fruitful periods which gives them a sense of relieve in terms of asking questions. Belonging to the same group of people make you feel more like home. When teachers create a safe , supportive environment for such students , and affirming their beliefs in a student’s abilities rather then laying out the consequences of not dosing things, students are much more likely to get and be rooted towards motivation in context with their goals.

Everyone likes getting rewards, and offering your students the chance to earn them an excellent source motivation. Things like pizza parties, giving them an opportunity to play / hangout with the privileged children or even something as simple as sticks on the paper can make students work harder and really help to achieve their goal. At the same there is no other form of motivation that works quite as well as encouragement.Knowingyour students also has some benefits, namely it allows you to relate yourself and the children, it helps you to compare and improvise your strategy as a teacher.
