Every activity in school life plays a significant role in development of students.
Co- curricular activities are an essential part of school life and helps in enhancing learning process at school. If I talk about my school Cm international School won the best award for teaching methodology from TATA INSTITUE OF SOCIAL SCIENCE, MUMBAI, Best School in Pune in the category ‘Extra Curricular Activity’ and ‘Best Emerging School’ from ‘Times Education Icons 2017’.
Our teacher teaches us by doing activities with us like quizzes, debate, recitation and many more academic games which helps us to learn better. I really enjoy learning in school because it is completely activity based. These activities are designed and balanced with academics curriculum so that we students get to learn beyond subjects.
Many events are conducted in our school like cultural which helps us understand several cultural values. We celebrated Khadi Day on Gandhi Jayanti, we flied kites on Makar Sankranti, we celebrated Diwali and many more. As a student it has helped me to understand different religions, social ethics, patience, empathy.
There are other extracurricular activities conducted in school like athletics, gymnastics, yoga, indoor games, music, dance, meditation etc which helps me to stay active, good for my physical fitness and mental health.
I am proud that my school is an activity based school and I enjoy learning in my school.
